Some Baking with the kiddos!

I really didn't get much done today as I fell down the steps this morning and jarred my neck.....it hurts like hell!  I used to be athletic....I swear my kids stole my coordination when I was baking them in my oven.....UGGHHHHH............
Anyway, I did manage to bake cake/cupcakes with them.  DD Olivia, 7, has been bugging to make these cupcakes  she thought up....Vanilla cake with chocolate and strawberry frosting twisted together with a white chocolate dipped strawberry in the middle.....

Her sister Hannah just had to make something too....so we went with a Banana Split cake! 

NOPE!  WE NEVER watch the Food Network in this house!

Layouts! Storms! Seriously!

OK....I of course have some layouts to show you.....the first one is from a sketch from Creative Scrappers #153.  I am also using it as a submission to a challenge on Tallyscrapper which will benefit an Elephant Sanctuary!  How cool is THAT!

I also have a layout done for another Tallyscrapper challenge involving using an imperfect photo...this one is fuzzy and out of focus and horribly cropped....I used the Tallyscrapper Monthly Kit which is AMAZING!  I used all kit except for that ribbon hanging the banner....which is my first banner by the way!

Sassafrass and a day outdoors

Well....today was BEAUTIFUL!  We had sun and lots of warm air!  While we were outside we did some sidewalk chalking....one of my favorite spring/summer activities!

Today, though of course it is rainy and gray....it will be warm enough for the kids to wear shorts!  I just love the outfit DD Olivia picked out.....she looks like such a little preppy!
In the first picture DD Olivia is giving DD Hannah her "devil horns".....sometimes they are just too loving aren't they?

Crafting again!!!!!!

I have recently moved and I finally unpacked all my craft supplies and I actually did something!  I started a list book for 2011!  I got the idea HERE.  It's really a fun idea! 
Hopefully I will be on here more now that my life is finally settling back into a routine!
